Selecting several same part in drawing

I am struggling to selecting several of the same part in a drawing to make them invisible

As this pictures shows there are lots of "round" parts I want to make invisible

picking them one by one is often really booring since there are 100's sometimes

Also hard to pick them in the browser since there are pattern parts and hard to pick those

Whats the best work method to pick alot of the same part number in a drawing and make them invisible?

Ofcource it is simple! forgot about it

I just figure there was a similar way directly on to the drawing view.

Hi,

I have a quick way to help you ( i'm not sure if this is the fastest but it really reduces a lot of time)

1. Go to the browser and choose search icon, type the name of the file you want to turn off visibility.

2. Choose 1 file and use combination SHIFT + LMB at the last file ( just like Excel)

3. RMB and choose Visibility then voila!! All the parts disappear even if they are in pattern.

4. Create a new design view then use that view in drawing.

Actually you can do the same thing in drawing environment but be careful to choose the right view when choosing.

there are of course ways to do this in the drawing, such as the search bar or ilogic.

but be careful, because it has to be done for EVERY view, and other users might not know what/how you did it.
