New custom materials in material assignment fill materials or covers

Hi everyone!

I am working as furniture constructor and there is one thing i would love if it is possible.

I would like to make new materials in Material Assignment library. I would love to have a selection of previously made materials so i can choose them quickly. Is it possible?

* First example - if i make a cabinet made of MDF. The frame and facade are covered with white laminate. Laminate looks similar, but they have different codes.

* Second example - cabinet is made of MDF but frame and facade are different. Frame is moisture resistant and facade is not.

So there is a choice in fill materials in boards - two similar MDF panels which looks same, but are different. One is moisture resistant and other is just plain.

Thanks for attention and i hope this is somehow possible.

You can create your own material library and add any custom materials you've created to that one.

create a library as niels said, and for quick access set it to the default in you project settings (you also need to include it in other projects there)
