i cant offset the offseted profile

im trying to create offset of airfoil, however i cant delete the original profile and keep the offseted profile. second i also cant offset or select the profile that has been offseted.

Hi!

If you delete the source, the offset will be deleted also...

Turn the source into construction geometry.

Create a second offset from the source geometry instead.

Hi! Indeed, it is a limitation that an offset spline curve cannot be offset again. You may right-click on the offset curve -> Convert to Spline. Then you can offset it again. However, the associativity to the original spline will be broken.

Another workflow to keep the associativity is to create a surface. Instead of using Offset Curve, you can extrude the spline as a surface. Then use Thicken/Offset to create the offset surfaces. Lastly project the surface edges to a new sketch.
