Ilogic rules missing after migration to new release

Hello.

I migrated over to the new Inventor release and now I see that my templates do not longer contain created iLogic rules. Old Inventor release has been removed. How to get them back in? Possible to somehow read them out of the model files?

Welcome to the forum!

You removed the old version of Inventor, but did you also delete the Template files that you modified to include the rules? If they still exist someplace on your system, you could move them into the Template folder of your new release.

Are you sure the rules where local, or it was external iLogic rules?

As @CCarreiras mentioned, if they were external rules, you will need to set the ilogic configuration as shown below:

Then in the "External Rules Directory" dive down to the folder where they exist and add it back.

If these rules were locally saved in your template files then are you sure your current project file/application options are pointing to the correct template files?

Go to File...Manage.. Projects and hover over the "Templates" section under Folder Options to see the location of the template files its using and ensure thats where your templates that you were using in the previous version were saved at... If it says "Default" and that not where your templates were then you can set that default in tools..application options.. file tab.. Or set it directly in your project file to overwrite that application options location.
