Custom column not usable with Frame Generator or Bolted connection

You can add columns to your Content Center parts, let say Preferred. You can use that column when you place a bolt. How can I use this column with a Bolted Connection, or with Frame Design?

I don't think there is any way to use this column as a selectable option during placement using those tools, the selection menus use only predefined parameters. The best you could hope for, I believe, is to have it populate a custom iProperty on the generated components for use with your BOM as an example.

Add "Preferred" in Description:

Not sure if you can put _ infront and get them to sort to the top.
