How to align centers of two cylinders which are on two different planes in inventor assembly?

For example the inlet connection and the filter in this case.

To make the problem a bit clearer, I want to align these two parts so that I can connect them by Pipe center to center in a 90 bent pipe. If they are not aligned, the piping will go some other routes than simple 90 degree.

HI!

You could do an INSERT Contraint to connect the elements + ANGLE Constraint to the position.

Zip and Attach your assembly here if you can’t figure it out. Someone here will demonstrate the process.

Constrain center axis.

Select the cylinder and you can pick the axis.

You can flip the direction also.

However, in my case the parts not need to be connected. They should be aligned so that I can connect them by 90 degree bent pipe.
