    <description>&lt;P&gt;To add to what &lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9248770"&gt;@CGBenner&lt;/a&gt; has said, you can verify your drawing styles to make sure it is set to your standards and preferred angle projection. Manage (tab) &amp;gt; Styles Editor &amp;gt; select Active Standard (to see the current one) &amp;gt; View Preference.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Detailing a part created in a assembly</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;OK, so i create a part in an assembly.&amp;nbsp; when i open the part, it is skewed all over the place.&amp;nbsp; Now how do you guys get the part into orthographic projection following third angle projection per ANSI OR ISO so i can detail it.&amp;nbsp; Any tips or suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please bare with me I have been away for 3 years if its a stupid question.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/12972588"&gt;@robertVZLY9&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hello!&amp;nbsp; There are no stupid questions here&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_face:"&gt;😀&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Place the view in your drawing, and right-click on the View Cube, select Custom View Orientation.&amp;nbsp; That will open the Part, and from there you can use Look At to select the face you would like to set as Top, Front, etc.&amp;nbsp; Return to the drawing by clicking Finish Custom View,... and there ya go.&amp;nbsp; &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Edit drawing view.&amp;nbsp; Right click on the view cube, Custom View.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pick the face you want in the view and Look At.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="CustomView-01.jpg" style="width: 279px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1124455i9E3D40C0582079DC/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="CustomView-01.jpg" alt="CustomView-01.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="CustomView-02.jpg" style="width: 278px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1124456i368324D827069914/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="CustomView-02.jpg" alt="CustomView-02.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you really plan it out, you can use Look At in the part and save that view in View Rep.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the part don't have any face you can Look At, create plane to Look At.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
