Edit constraint not clickable

I want to edit a rotation constraint. I have right- clicked it and I can see "edit" but the "edit" and few other things there are not clickable. It is for a gear I generated.

This is what I am referring to. The "edit" is not clickable.

Also I would appreciate if you have tips on how to make my gear generator calculator to stop saying "calculation indicates design failure"

Oh is that what you mean.

I just tried it still didn't work. Although now the floating list has more things on it.

The reason I want to edit it is cuz the gears aren't rotating each other properly.

When I try to rotate them forward using my mouse, they glitch forward and back instead of giving smooth rotations.

A guy had the same issue on YouTube, and changing the direction of rotation solved it.

Is there any other way to solve the issue?

If you RMB on the Spur Gear, do you have the option to "Edit in Generator"? This would be similar to editing a frame generator assembly. Does that work? Can you open the assembly, and then edit?

Caveat: I have not worked with spur gears for some years, so I am guessing. Can you post the assembly? If I work with it, maybe that will clear out the cobwebs in my brain.

Also, what version of Inventor are you using?

I use 2023, so I am not sure if the process is different for 2020:

From the File menu, select the flyout next to Save As, and select Pack and Go from the options:

I had to run it a number of times using different settings to get what I wanted.

I followed the steps you gave me. I hope I followed it right. Attached is the zipped Pack and Go file

Do not mind the two gear part files that I designed without the gear generator. They don't match, I do not intend to use them

Hi! Though the Rotational constraint is presented in the gear set, its ratio is automatically computed by the Gear Generator based on the gear diameters. You will need to change the gear design so that the Rotation constraint will change.

Okay, are you saying that the ratio isn't meant to be automatically computed?

Or that all the parameters in the current gear design don't match up to produce suitable rotation?

Hi! The rotation ratio is supposed to be calculated automatically by the gear generator. If not, it will be a bug.
