What is your easiest workaround for adding flag notes to a list of notes in Inventor?

I posted the question about creating flag notes within a list of notes, but it appears that this is not included within Inventor:

Having used flag notes on engineering drawings for a few decades in multiple industries, I thought that this was fairly standard practice. For those of you who also incorporate flag notes on drawings in Inventor, what is your easiest workaround for adding them to a list of notes?

We created 2 sketch symbols, 1 "empty" one and one with a prompt.

Don't know if this is what you were looking for

That looks pretty good, and it allows you to use the shape of your choice.

Are you able to "attach" those sketch symbols to your list of notes, or are they effectively separate annotations/notes on the drawing sheet? In other words, if you want to move your list of notes to a different location on the drawing sheet, do the sketch symbols move with it?

Hi,

You can make the notes in a sketch symbol and add it there. We do that sometimes, not all the time.

Why is this not an option? Inventor needs to have a note flag with accompanying table that references the flags that you've added. Similar to the way Balloons and Revision Tags are used. It's an embarrassment to have a text leader saying, "See Note 1" and then have to make a manual notes list. It is unprofessional and would be such an easy fix. PS, I had to make this sketch symbol with the prompted number entry. Ridiculous.
