After I installed Windchill Workgroup Manager I also got an additional tab in the ribbon called 'PTC Windchill'. In the PTC Windchill tab is a button called Open from Windchill, and I'm trying to figure out a keyboard shortcut to it specifically in assembly mode.

I have been able to add it to my Quick Access Tool Bar in part mode but it wont let me add it in assembly mode for some reason. I would also just try and use a keyboard macro and the alt commands to navigate to it but for some reason inventors accessibility doesn't extend to buttons added to the user command area nor the newly added PTC Windchill tab. I hope they are not violating some compliance policy here.

From autodesk:

Section 508 accessibility compliance

Autodesk recognizes the importance of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 requires that federal agencies' electronic and information technology is accessible to people with motor, vision, or other impairments.

From the website: https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/#keyboard-operation

Principle 2: Operable - User interface components and navigation must be operable.

Guideline 2.1 Keyboard Accessible: Make all functionality available from a keyboard.
Understanding Guideline 2.1

2.1.1 Keyboard: All functionality of the content is operable through a keyboard interface without requiring specific timings for individual keystrokes, except where the underlying function requires input that depends on the path of the user's movement and not just the endpoints.
