How can I define angular dimensions as parameters, in my solid part, in Autodesk Inventor 2023, to later import the .ipt file in a Finite Element Software?

Hi!

If you use angular dimensions in the sketch or features, it will appear in your parameter chart.

You can raname the parameters to identify it better.

If you need extra parameters, you can create them in the parameters chart.

Hi Hugo,

I guess it will depend on how the FEA software access Inventor parameters. All model dimensions are driven by parameters. If the FEA software can access the parameters through Inventor API, the angular parameter should be there. Please share an example if it does not work for you.
