Sheet Metal punch Tool extract / place issues

Hello all,

Im trying to create a variation on punch tool I've made in the past except this time I cannot get it to work and I have no idea why. I have 1 singular sketch in the part. I have basic geometry. the thickness is completely uniform. and I've used this source file to make similar punch tools before. I'm working in 2022

I have seen them. I was having a look at them when I made my first punch tool.

Why don't you use it when creating another one?

Hi! The part as is, isn't ready to extract a punchtool. The punch should not be a body-generating feature. It should be already a sheet metal body and then the punchtool is like a group feature operating on the body.

I have modified the part and the sketch to avoid any local dependency. Please take a look at the attached file.
