topic Offset command in Inventor Forum

I've noticed a change in the offset command recently. Previously, when using loop offset I could project say the outer profile of a part, start offset, then drag the projected line in & enter a dimension. That would usually fully constrain the offset at the desired dimension from the projected lines.

Now I do the same but the offset lines are not constrained , there is no dimension between the projected & offset lines, I can just drag them around.

Is this a deliberate change or have I inadvertently changed a setting somewhere? I can't see any setting if I choose 'offset' & then R.Click.

Can you Attach file here that exhibits this behavior?

You should see options when right click.

I think you accidentally changed a setting. As @JDMather advised: look in the right click menu:

That's the one, the 'constrain offset' was unticked. It works OK now, thanks to both of you.
