Material in BOM does not match part properties

Hi all,

Very frustrating start this morning. I have a part that I have material assigned to. The part does have 2 model states and they match material.

In the Assembly BOM, the Material is shown as Generic and is greyed out.

Unfortunately I cannot share files due to my NDA.

What am I missing?

Edit Model state spreadsheet.

Is Primary using Generic?

No material listed in the spreadsheet.

I deleted one of the two model states and was able to correct the issue. I then recreated the model state and all is good again.

Inventor 2023 seems to get confused a lot.

There are still bugs with MS.

Hi Steven,

The behavior sounds like a bug to me. Please make sure 2023.2 update and 2023.2.1 update are installed.

If you can find a way to reproduce the same behavior, please let me know.
