Installation problems.

Recently I purchased autodesk inventor. Upon trying to "install" the software, once it has downloaded I am unable to open the download. It gives me a 7zip error. I have tried uninstalling the software, and reinstalling it but I have the same issue. I have all of my security settings turned off, so there should not be an issue with the firewall/security letting things through. I am sure its a simple fix, but I am unable to figure it out. I have also tried going through all of the steps under the autodesk "troubleshoot" guide. Still the problem persists.

Just an update in case someone else has the same problem down the road (and is as computer illiterate as I am)! I was able to get the software downloaded after having the 7 zip error come up. What I did was download WinRAR and use that software to open and run the program.

Yes sir, I downloaded it from the Autodesk website directly after purchase.

Yes that is the error I was getting. I tried to follow those directions, but ultimately was still unable to get the software to download. I'm sure it was just something that I was doing incorrectly on my end. After I downloaded WinRAR and had that software open the download, it installed Inventor without issue.
