Parts list - Value substitution not showing leading zero when summing values

Hello,

I am working in a solution for column QTY in my part list.

I don't wanna use the default settings because I want different precisions for some parts, so I created a custom qty property in these parts and enabled substitution.

when I select "sum of values", it's not showing leading zeros and changing decimal separator to period. If I use "First value", the value is ok, showing leading zeros and comma as decimal separator, but I need to sum.

I looked for some setting in styles editor and options, but I couldn't find anything.

I am using Inventor Professional 2023

Hi! This could be a bug or a limitation. It probably depends on on the property format. Please share the files in zip here or send it to me directly johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the files! I can confirm the behavior. Without disclosing the detail of your model here, I can comment on how to restore the leading zero.

Simply edit the PartsList and right-click on the QTY column -> Format Column -> Column tab -> select "Apply Unit Formatting" -> change the unit to "Unitless," enable "Leading Zero," and uncheck "Unit String."
