dear inventor users, can we change dim. style to the like shown in above image in inventor. please help me to figure it out.

~~Right-click the dim, check the "Hide dimension value" and then enter a blank space in the box (to get rid of the default <TEXT>).~~

~~Then in Annotate -> Leader Text. Enter value and position as desired.~~

No it's not the same, please unlearn this method.

Can you imagine having to perform this method for a few hundred dimensions?

Mistakes will be made.

I use a similar method for arc length dimensions, The whole "Hide dimensions" etc, and it is painful. I use ilogic and have many checks in place to combat errors (Which have happened in the past)

Edit: What happens if you update the model and "d11" gets replaced? Also can you imaging browsing through hundreds of dimensions looking for the correct one, you might have perhaps 5 "30mm " dimensions, which one is the correct one?

LOL, it's not all that bad. It has its benefits as well.

The process you mentioned works well. The point I am trying to make, is not use a parameter when a valid dimension will do.

It becomes more stable when you use a "User parameter", you can then copy and paste leaders all over the drawing, and it will pull the relevant user parameter from the attached part, updating seamlessly.
