Insulation is visible through other part

Hello everyone,
This is my first post here.

I’m working as a project engineer, and I have a visual issue regarding the graphic in my assembly.
The problem is that the insulation is partly visible through my shell (1mm thick) on my tank.
Is there anyone who know why and/or how to fix it?

Hi!

This occurs because the faces are touching.

This is only a visual effect, there's no problem in terms of operation.

If you want to avoid that "visual issue" give an offset (like 0.00001 mm for example) between the faces and it will solve the issue.

That is a solution to work around it.

Though it’s a shame that Inventor is not able to visual split the parts apart.

On the other hand.... you can check if the faces are touching... and other people may like to see that easily
It's not possible to attend all the needs at the same time...
