How can I see the sketch layer when it lies inside the solid part. I use to be able to do it with F7. Inventor pro 2019.

Hi! I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing. Try this option. Go to Tools -> App Options -> Sketch -> go to the bottom -> Sketch Display -> Opacity of sketch displayed through shaded model. Set it to a higher value.

F7 still works as always for me through Inventor 2024. You have to be editing the sketch for F7 (Slice Graphics) to work, though.

However, I rarely use it because the solution shown by @johnsonshiue is much easier.

See if your Custom keyboard shortcuts have been changed: Tools > Customize > Keyboard > list alphabetically the "Keys" column and see if F7 is properly assigned to "Slice Graphics". The same command can be found under the View tab.
