Strange and inconsistent prehighlight hover behavior

I'm currently using Inventor 2023, and I'm having a strange issue with the way prehighlight works.

So, in Inventor; when you hover your cursor over a part, it's highlighted if you have prehighlight enabled, this also applies to hovering over the part in the model browser. Currently, it's only one or the other for me. It either only highlights when you hover over the items in the model space itself, or it only highlights if you hover over the items in the model browser, and the deciding factor on what is highlighted is if prehighlight is disabled.

I'm not sure if this is some sort of hotkey I pressed on accident that's just modified the prehighlight behavior, or if it's something wrong with the project itself somehow, but I haven't found any other posts about this specific issue.

The project has no special iLogic rules or anything that i can think of that could be causing this.

I should also mention, I have another similarly laid out project, but the prehighlight works exactly as you would expect in it, so I'm not sure exactly why it the program would be acting differently in that regard between the two, since I assume that's not a setting controlled within the document itself.

This isn't necessarily a seriously compromising issue, but it is annoying.

Seems like a graphical issue.
I believe It's not an application setting, because the issue only appears in a particular model.
Try to close/restart inventor to restart the graphic card settings.

That fixes it, but only temporarily, I'll see if I can't pinpoint exactly when the behavior usually starts, I usually don't notice it's happening until it inconveniences me in some way

Check if you have all updates installed for Inventor and the graphic card.

Check if you have space on disk c: (memory issues)
