Having issue with Content center editor

Hello everyone

I am facing an issue with the content center editor. I have a custom content center library, in which I have copied standard pipe. I am trying to insert a row with different information by simply copying the existing row and paste below it. It works fine for one row at a time, however, when I copy and paste more than one line and try to publish It says "failed to publish library". Then I have to delete those extra copied rows and keep one single row and upon doing so it publishes it successfully. I am attaching snapshots of both cases one (#1) with publishing two rows and one (#2) with just one row. I have tried this exercise before (a long time back around 1.5 years) and was working fine.

I am using Inventor 2023 (with 2023.3 update). I am having same issue before and after updating inventor versions (2023.2.1 to 2023.3).

Your advise/help is appreciated.

Do you have Excel installed on your computer? If so you can open the family table in Excel and do your editing there, copying and pasting multiple rows, then save and return to family table.

Hi @CBhavsar33

Either your filename/member is not unique or the left most columns (these are hidden) of the excel table have static values I believe they should be empty. Take a screenshot when your in the excel table.

Hi! I am sorry I cannot tell that by looking at the image. Could it be possible the two rows have the same member name or file name? Please share the .idcl file here.

@SBix26 Adding rows in not a problem, publishing it to the library is the issue.

@A.Acheson Please see the screenshot, the red-marked one are the rows (with funny alphanumeric name) I have inserted (before this issue came) and the numbered ones are the original rows.

Hi @CBhavsar33

If I was to guess at the failing rows it is due to the RID_title not having that alpha numeric identifier. Are any of the rows you copy and pasted the ones with the numbers only? I just copied and pasted a set of rows and the pipe part published fine. This RID-Title value seems to be self generating with new rows. I would thread carefully with any changes and ensure you have access to a back up .idcl in case of any corruption.

In Excel, navigate to the "File" menu and choose the "Open" option. Browse your computer's file system and select the family table file (usually with a .xls or .xlsx extension) you want to edit.
