Find user that made edits to content center - 2024

Our content center is stored in Vault. A number of people were given access to edit the content for initial population of families. I recently noticed that someone replaced the family template in one of the families. I'm wondering if there is a way for me to see who made this change. Using Inventor and Vault 2024.

Hi Andrew, could you open an instance of the Family and see any evidence there in any of the properties? Probably not unless they made an identifiable change in an iProperty value that would give it away.

This family is pretty new so not a lot of the members have been generated. There are two instances that have the changes but the creator of those files is not the one that replaced the family template.

Hi Andrew,

Inventor by itself does not keep track who changes what, except in the legacy shared projects. I assume you will need to check on Vault to see if there is a change record.

Thank you for the response. That is what I figured to be the case. @ihayesjr do you know if there is a way in Vault to see who changed a content center family?

No, Vault does not keep a record of that.
