It can be thickened.</LI> <LI>It's best to create a single tread on one side and convert it into a new solid. Then, mirror and translate (rotate) it to create an instance on the other side. The final step will be to create a circular pattern of these solids. Though the process may be a bit tedious, it is highly doable. Basically, stitch the trimmed boundary patch surfaces. Pattern the Stitch feature. Repeat it on the other side. And stitch all together. Thicken the revolved surface.
