Problems with rendering image and animations with assemblies that have images as decals on them

Hi, I am trying to render images and animation of an assembly that contains parts with decals made of out images.

The images is decalled on the parts and is showing just fine in the model, but when rendering they are shown as slighly shaded / translucent and unclear. see attached pictures.

Any tips on what is the issue, is it lighting, or some other problems?

Hello,

which version are you using? Does it make a difference if you render this on the CPU or the GPU?

Hi, and thanks for your reply, I am using Inventor 2025, and rendering on CPU , my graphic card can't handle GPU rendering

Hey,

did a patch solve this? If it didn´t, you can vectorize and emboss the logo with a sketch and minimal extrude. Also try custom materials. If they render and the image carries you might just get a good result.

Hi! Without seeing the actual model, it is very hard to tell where the problem is. One thing you may try real quick is to share the image sketch consumed by the Decal feature. Then create multiple Decal features on top of each other. Somehow the accumulated Decal features may signify the image in graphics.
