[Inventor] Sweep cut not working

Hello. (Using Inventor Professional 2026)

I made a blue triangle profile and path like above to do sweep cut.

Somehow, I can't choose a path from the option when I try to do sweep.

Is this impossible situation to do sweep cut? If not, what would be the problem of my path for sweep cut?

I can't tell from the images what the problem might be. Can you post the file here, and let us know what version of Inventor you're using?

Your path is freeform – the sketch is not fully constrained.

Don't finish working on the sketch until the pin icon appears in your browser.

Tweak the sketch to use it as a path.

I constrained every sketch in the file like you said. It worked perfectly.

There is another small question though, when I constrained the sketch, I can tell it's constrained by it's color but the model tree says otherwise. Is this some kind of a glitch or something? (from my settings, fully constrained sketch is shown in purple)

If Inventor says that a sketch is not fully constrained, it is. You can check this in two places: the browser icon and the status bar.
