&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I believe there is indeed a workaround. If the curves are on the target surface, you could use Split command and select the curve to split the face. Then use Unwrap command (uncheck "Merge Result Body" option) to flatten the faces. The edges will be retained on the flat surface.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Surface Unwrap workaround needed</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is there a workaround to have curves that are projected onto a surface unwrap onto the flattened surface.&amp;nbsp; I cant see any options to include curves.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All of Inventors competitors can do this so I figure there must be a way to do it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, those options are to control the way the bounding edges unwrap, ie linear forces an edge to remain straight.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You cant select projected curves with those options.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
