the circular pattern dimension bothering my drawing, it looks like my gear has an only u shape, the circular pattern dimension obstructing the view

It doesn't matter because it's just a sketch that defines geometry, not aesthetics.

i know, but its for my grades. Im afraid my teacher didnt see it and gave me a bad grade. If it cant be removed can i hide it?

Yes, you can hide dimensions from the sketch context menu in the browser after you finish editing the sketch.

If I were grading this, I would deduct points for using a sketch pattern instead of a feature pattern, as well as having too many things in one sketch. Different approaches to modeling can produce equal results, but some techniques are far more resilient than others.

Best practices aren't rigid rules, but they should be the first techniques considered for modeling.

I thought the same thing, but I don't know the content of the assignment and maybe the assignment was about using sketching tools.
