Creating Bend Tables - First time

In the past I have always just adjusted the sheet metal thickness to unfold different parts. However, if I am being asked to create more "exact" bend tables, what else do I need to know and do?

K Factors and Bend compensations/radii? I know what these are, but do I need to mess with them? If so, what information do I need to get from the break presses and how to I set them up in Inventor.

Thanks I read one of those articles, but the one with the definitions was really helpful.
