I downloaded the socket set and wrench set from cbliss which are each iparts. The socket set works fine, but when I open the wrench ipart I see nothing. I opened it as an ipt and also tried placing it in an iam. All of the features in the model browser are greyed out. I thought it might be something with visibility, because if I hover over the features in the browser I can see an outline of them in the display. However, I can't figure it out. Perhaps it has to do with updating the part to the 2015 version I'm using. I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to create my own iparts and want to get some ideas from the exisiting models out there. Then I can post what I come up with if anyone is interested. I've attached the file I downloaded from cbliss. Does anyone else have an issue opening it? Thank you.

Now that I have it working, I'm trying to remodel it as more of a Snap-On style wrench. Mainly, I want to change the fillets where the handle meets the open end and box end to be much larger. I tried a variable radius fillet and I attempted to loft with rails, but wasn't sure what to do for the last profile. Also, the cross section of the handle is an ellipse right now, but I wonder if it should be made up ofarcs with two different radi instead. Any suggestions on how to blend the ends of the wrench with the handle.

Hi!

I dont understand well what you seek... but there's one example of variable radius...

It's better, but I want a much larger radius which I don't know how to acheive. Please see the photo posted if you have a time.

By the way, I like the way you utilized mirroring. That was clever.

Hi!

Just a pré-idea... needs more work, but just to give you another method.

Note... not so clever those mirrors in that case... look at mouth... but anyway, if we isolate the mouth, it's possible to use those mirror correctly.
