    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to do a circular pattern of a hole on a 45 degrees arc length. But it can't be&amp;nbsp;based on&amp;nbsp;a quantity of occurrences. I need&amp;nbsp;one specific distance between each hole, lets say every 300 mm. I just can't figure out the formula&amp;nbsp;required to obtain the result I'm looking for.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone remember how to do this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you probably know this&amp;nbsp;by now but:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="line-height: 15px;"&gt;if 300 is measured&amp;nbsp;alon&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="line-height: 15px;"&gt;g&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="line-height: 15px;"&gt; chord (straight line) than you will have one hole every alpha = 2* asin(0,5*300/R)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;if 300 i measured&amp;nbsp;along arc (arc length) than you will have one hole every alpha [deg] = 360 [deg] * 300 / (2 * Pi)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;in inventor you do not have to calculate any of those. Just do a additional sketch, or use one you have and in pattern make a link to appropriate&amp;nbsp;dimensions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;would you need an example? if so post your file please.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cris.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
