topic Re: Moving Work Planes (size and position, not dimension) in Inventor Forum

I just did a search for a forum thread in which @johnsonshiue (if I recall correctly) explained in some detail how assembly work features are different from part work features, but I couldn't find it. My recollection is that assembly work features behave as components, constrained to one another and to components in the same way that components are constrained to each other. I believe that post also addressed the inability to move assembly work plane representations (the outlines) off center. Perhaps Johnson or someone else with that level of knowledge would care to jump in with a short dissertation on the subject?

Sam B

Inventor Professional 2015 SP1 Update 3
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, SP1
HP EliteBook 8770w; 8 GB RAM; Core™ i7-3720QM 2.60 GHz; Quadro K4000M
