Has Inventor really become that much more demanding on PCs over the decades? It seems like not too long ago I was running it on a 600MHz machine with a state-of-the-90's gaming card. I'd bet that if you turn off textures/reflections/shadows etc. then any machine on the market today would run it just fine.

Seriously tho, for the work described by the OP, would you really be able to tell those machines apart?

Excuse the not very helpful post.

Regards,

Jon C.
