Thanks again, JD. Surfaces still seem like voodoo to me, one of these days I really need to take a course on them.

I am having a problem with a sheet metal part, I've been banging my head against it for most of the day.

The welder came in and said that the geometry is causing him problems, and he needs the two bend lines to intersect at the corner (look on the flat pattern where the bend lines almost meet).

How can I move the bend line so it is in the right place?

I didn't make this part originally, and I am not familiar with the workflow used.

I have tried a couple different ways to remodel it from scratch, and have been entirely unsuccessful.

I could just move my slot centerline (which is the bend line in reality), but that would change the geometry of the bottom flange edges quite a bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Inv 2015 Pro

I am thinking of using the Flange which would produce a notch/corner relief at the bottom. Rather than Fold the bottom (rectangular section) Use the Flange for this.

You will need the reliefs, when it's broken, the corners will become messed.
