topic Mismatch between the Simulation Definition and the Simulation Results Data Error in Inventor Forum

Hi,

I am using Inventor 2016. Once I click on the simulate button to do the stress analysis it shows me an error message " There is a mismatch between the simulation definition and the simulation results data stored on (file location)\AIP\FEA. The data will have to be recomputed.".

I clicked O.K. Then, I tried clicking the mesh button but does not do anything. Also, Tried to click the simulate\run button but showed a 3 seconds running and ended with no results.

The interesting is that it was working well yesterday. Also, we do not have a vault and I am the only user access this file.

Could you please help solving that.

Many Thanks,

Mohamed Kh

NorArc

Try deleting one of your boundary conditions (constraints), and then re-applying it. Or you could exclude a component from the analysis, and then include it again. Either of these actions will cause Inventor to prompt you to update your contacts and mesh.

Hopefully this solves your issue.

Curtis
