Is it possible to have ACAD in PDS reference the ACAD specific Network License if the PDS license is taken? Or does it require another installation of ACAD to reference that network license (IE PDS will only reference the PDS license for all included products and the individual products can't reference to single product licenses)?

if your running Autocad from Mechanical or Electrical then no this will grab a suite license

you will need to download/install the separate manilla Autocad product
