Personally I've found working with those sub-windows as anything but maximized to be very tricky and unpredictable. I too would like more control over my window arrangement, particularly when it comes to multiple monitors. That's why I created <A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideastation/multiple-windows-per-session/idi-p/5703772" target="_self">this idea</A> in the IdeaStation requesting the ability to have multiple full windows open 🙂 But if someone knows of a way to control the sub-window opening location and size via the registry, that would be a very imperfect but useful workaround in the meantime.
