    <description>&lt;P&gt;NO, There is no way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iparts are derived from the main part and in the process you loose the authoring information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;give us a vote on the idea station to get this implemented:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideastation/tube-and-pipe-overhaul/idi-p/5518269" target="_self"&gt;http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideastation/tube-and-pipe-overhaul/idi-p/5518269&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A better way would be to use ilogic components but you need to run two inventor sessions and in one you disable the T&amp;amp;P addin and you generate the parts and then you place them with place fitting in the other session.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you remember, in the pipe clips video I am explaining all of this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CC is easy especially if you use excel to modify the family table. You can also use the material wizard&amp;nbsp;to add new rows and/or families based on your current in which you can do all the changes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
