topic How to line up the middel of two parts in an assembly? in Inventor Forum

Hello,

I am creating an assembly and would like to line up the centreline of a face on one part with the centreline of a face on another part, but the constraint doesn't seem to work. The kind of thing I mean is shown in the attached image. How can I line up the two yellow axes drawn on the two parts shown? Using the mate constraint doesn't work. Is there a different way of achieving the desired effect? i.e. middle of one part mated to middle of another part?

I'm using Inventor 2015
