I am making a Ice Cube tray for a project here at work. I need this tray to resemble the path that a spoon takes when scooping out ice cream if you will, so that the ice cubes easily eject with some paddles revolving by a motor. In Solidworks the path could be done with a dome i believe, what could i do to get it right here? If you look in Revolution 1 you will see the problem. With the cube needed to be ejected by a motor, the path has to be smooth and this radius makes an obstruction because the bottom is "Flat". Is there a way to make this path smooth without surface moddeling this tray? If you look at the second file you will see what i need the path to be, but it gives the front and back a "Point" and that is not acceptable. I know why it is giving me the point due to the revolution, but i just need the point to be gone. Could anyone offer some solutions or help? I would greatly appreciate it!
