Updating Inventor 2021 to 2024

Hey everyone, our company is running Inventor 2021.4.4, and I received the request to update it to Inventor 2024. I am wondering if there is any procedure that I should follow, or should I just install it without uninstalling I2021 to keep the compatibility for the old files?

Also, we still need to keep using our Vault Server 2021.3 until the physical server is replaced, it should be soon, do you guys think it should be a problem? (using Inventor 2024 with Vault server 2021).

I appreciate your help, I have no experience in this topic.

you can't use Inventor 2024 with vault 2021

if you need to use Vault with 2024 then you need to install Vault 2024

Dont uninstall 2021 version before you have all configurated in inv 24.

Also... first migrate the vault.
Note: The vault migrates 2 versions only, so you have to migrate vault to 2023 first and finally migrate again to 2024.

Thanks, I had forgotten about the 2 version limitation, thanks for the reminder. I'll move forward updating both of them to 2023 then first.
