Hi! I think Inventor can display fraction in dimension in a part or an assembly file. Could you attach a file you have trouble with? I would like to take a look and show you how it can be done.

Thanks!

Hi everyone, spent a few hours searching this and trying to create new libraries, edit existing ones, and everything else.

In my styles and standards editor, the only options I have are Lighting and Text. This is a new install and I'd rather not reinstall. Can anyone tell me how to get the other options in there? I've followed all the autodesk documentation related to this and have had 0 results. Thanks!

Hi! The available styles to edit in Styles and Standard Editor depend on the document type. In an assembly file, only Lighting styles are there. In a part file, you will see Lighting and Text styles (sheet metal part will have Sheet Metal Rule and Sheet Metal Unfold styles additionally). For a drawing file, there will be drawing related standards and annotation related styles.

What kind of document did you open and what kind of styles were you looking for?

Thanks!

Thanks yall. I do have a part sheet open. I'm an Inventor beginner and using it for woodworking so I was trying to change the dimensions to automatically display in fractions of an inch instead of decimals. I guess that make sense since this product isn't aimed at woodworking where most measuresuments are done in fractions.

Question answered, thank you!
