topic A synchronization between an Excel table and Inventor 2011 in Inventor Forum

All relevant files (a set, parts and Excel) are situated on a server. We work with them in Inventor 2011 on several PCs. External reference to Excel is actualized when Actualize button is pressed = everything goes right.

One desktop OS and Inventor 2011 was reinstalled and the actualization ceases to operate. I change a parameter in Excel, then I press a Actualization button and the 3D set (or a part) doesnt change. I have to close a 3D set and open it again, then assign a new external reference to Excel table and then the Actualize button works.

Settings of Inventor on this desktop are exactly the same as on the other desktops. Paths of external references to the Excel table are set correctly and connected in Paramaters window (pic1). Connection to Excel is displayed (pic2).

Thank you for advice.

Jiri G.
