You'd probably have to configure a BOM report template for Vault, and then insert that into Inventor.
https://help.autodesk.com/view/VAULT/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-1338617E-80C5-4B85-9B83-F66260D25BCD

https://mgfx.co.za/blog/engineering-manufacturing-design/tools-under-utilised-in-autodesk-vault/

But yeah, I don't think it will be easy to make this updated live. You'd probably need to code some iLogic (if not API) to build your own sketch symbols and blocks to use as you show.

See Attachment

Current we create our Engineering Drawing Trees in Inventor using the Parts List option (See Left). Our client doesn't like the flow of it and wants us to create it more like a flow chart (See Right). Is there anyway to create a flow chart that looks similar to the clients liking and still have all of the fields auto populate from Vault Professional. Currently we did it the way they want it, we would either have to just design it in a sketch and type in all the info or use a 3rd party software like Visio and then insert as Object created from File and paste on a page. This option also has no linking from Vault and is fat fingered.

v/r

Robert
