&lt;P&gt;I don't see your steps attached but your part is enough to fix the problem with normals of imported planar surfaces.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Open your part .&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. In browser view right-click on Composite1 node.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Start "Repair Bodies" command from context menu. This will start Repair Environment in Inventor.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. On the main ribbon you can find command "Reverse Normal" (the last one).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;5. Start this command and select face you want to fix. Press Apply in the dialog box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6. Finish Repair Environment.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That's it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
