Hi,

in Inventor 2022 opening the material section I can see the Physical info in the strenght section appears 'thermally treated' but I do not understand how this info impacts on the rigid matrix of the material It is important for FEM analysis.

checkig I do not see differences in strenght or youg modules...

Could you help me?

Note this option is not present in the new release

Hi Diego,

I presume it could be a setting for exported material (Revit?).

I see no real uses in Inventor or Nastran for this setting.

The part with that material has not this property. We can't detect this characteristic also with I-Logic

Hi pineapplelaw1972, I know that is possible create new materials with different Physical Properties but the option/flag 'thermally treated in 2022' do not change the characteristic of that material or create a new iproperty to use e.g. to find a part with material with thermally treated...
