What is the process to change the name of a project.

I have some old projects i would like to add some description to the name.

are you talking the IPJ?

or folders of jobs?

Also are you using Vault?

Yes the IPJ

i am not using vault at this time

why rename it ..

copy and rename it, or make a new one.

What are you trying to do ..that may help decide a few options

rename it because , i want to add basic description as to what the job was. I search for components i know i have made in the past and i am able to use the renamed IPJ to shorten the search. i search for parts and assemblies in windows explorer using large icons so i can see the parts quickly for coping or Pack and go

I have tested the rename using the #1 option. The IPJ does change within INV however the name does not change within the windows explorer where i sometimes search within the windows environment using icons

Correct.. The rename only is a visual thing.. The article indicates that...
