How can I change screen colours?

Some of the colours selected by AI2015 do not contrast enough for my ageing eyesight. Here, the green lines placed on the model by "Project Geometry" are very difficult to pick up:

This view gives a better idea of what we are looking at

and I hope you will agree that face-on the green is pretty hard to pick up.

All the YouTube stuff deals with general colour schemes and on-line Help doesn't. Can someone tell me if I can change that green (for example) and how to go about it?

Well, there are the general colour schemes in the application options under "colors" ofcourse.
But i'm assuming you've already picked the scheme that has the best contrast for you?

If so, there is a "colorscheme editor" in the SDK that lets you tweak the colors.
I've never personally used it, so i don't know exactly how it works but you can find it after installing the usertools from the SDK.

You can find the install file in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor <version>\SDK

Thanks for that Niels, that's just the toy I need but there is one small problem. To use it I need a glossary .

What is the line I wish to recolour called? I tried changing what I thought it might be but that didn't work. It must have a proper name but I can't identity it. Can you or anyone help?

Like i said, i've never personally used the tool.

I think you're looking for the "Reference curve" under the "sketch" section.

Fair warning, i've seen some posts on the color scheme editor where it's recommended to backup relevant files and registry entries before editing.

The tool itself wars the user to back up everything. I did that.
Mind you, I am a compulsive backer-upper anyway 🙂

I've been using the "forest" scheme for so many years now, i don't know any better then seeing projected geometry in a red/brown color.
But yeah, this is much clearer than the green in your first screenshot. 😉
