Another choice:

Use a 3dconnexion 6dof controller with custom buttons...

https://3dconnexion.com/us/spacemouse/

I prefer using one of these controllers to using keyboard shortcuts.

In Fusion 360 and Solidworks you can hit "S" to bring up a quick-input pop-up, then just start typing your command. For instance, type "s" the type "cha" and chamfer will come up, same for literally any existing command. Old school AutoCAD also supports directly text inputting commands.

Is there a way to do this in Inventor?

You can create Keyboard assignments to command using the Customize dialog. You can find it here:

As pointed on the reply above, but also make sure to checkmark "Use default multi-character Command Aliases" to get the full "AutoCAD-like" experience, instead of only one command per keyboard key.
You should also look into regular UI shortcuts by pressing ALT once and looking at the tooltips on the ribbon and menus, and keep pressing subsequent keys to navigate... this would be my preference usually.

So no, there's no way. What a joke. I'm not going to remember 90 different shortcuts. Just let me start typing the command then autocomplete, you know, exactly like Fusion does. Now what company makes Fusion again?
