This problem is happening because when you make create the surface thickness the program is taking the thickness perpendicular to the surface and since the surface is at an angle to the circle the edge doesn't match up with the circle.

JDmather, this is not getting manurfactured and the material should just be stainless steel because no need of manurfacturing. its a part for a gas turbine and after we have to put it all togheter and simulate it. im still a student and working with autocad isnt my greatest ability. today was also the day i firstly worked with loft.

mwighton, thnx, i will try that out.

Hi,

if it helps, here is another way of doing what i think you are trying to achieve (see attached "problem_a.ipt". Basically, i added one sketch ("sketch7"), used that to create "LoftSrf2" & Then used this loft and "LoftSrf1" (which you already created) as input to "Sculpt1".

I noticed Mwighton gave you one solution, but that seems to have uncovered a problem (looks like a bug), which may cause problems in down-stream features. We will take a closer look at that, but just so you can see the weirdness, here is a half section view of the model "problem_new.ipt":

Hope it helps,
