      <title>Inventer Professional Not Responding</title>

      <description>Whenever I open up my inventer and click on that I want to do a new file. We'll I do that. Next I try to do what I want but I can't do anything because it tells me it's not responding. Most of the time it will close and ask me if I want to send a report to Autodesk. Can't anybody help</description>

&lt;P&gt;Did you send the crash report to Autodesk with your contact information?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>It's Windows 7&lt;BR /&gt;Version of Imventer is 2014&lt;BR /&gt;MS? Microsoft Excel if that yes it's installed but not runned with it&lt;BR /&gt;No it hasn't worked on this machine&lt;BR /&gt;I don't know if it was installed with UAC and anti virus&lt;BR /&gt;Yes I did sent the crash report</description>

&lt;P&gt;Are you a student?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If so, does your school have a Student IT Help Desk that can help you install software or answer computer related questions?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If not, why are you installing an old version of Inventor - where did you get the software?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Run Microsoft Excel - does it work?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Disable antivirus and UAC and go to the Control Panel and run a Repair Install on Inventor.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Download and install the latest Service Pack and Update for 2014.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Does Inventor run now?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well first you need to determine if you did update or not.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In the upper right hand corner you will see a circle with a question mark in it.&amp;nbsp; Select the down-arrow next to it and select About Inventor..&amp;nbsp; Post a screen shot of the about dialog.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
